Jim Williams Kingman Ring
Jim Williams Kingman Ring
DESCRIPTION
Being mined by the Native Americans long before civilization, Kingman Turquoise is one of the most common types of turquoise used in lapidary today. Navajo hammers and materials used for polishing and finishing turquoise were also discovered at this mine. Other items such as water skins and charcoal, which was heated and used by Natives to break Turquoise away from the vein in past times, was recovered. Following in his ancestors footsteps, Jim Williams, Navajo artist, carefully crafted this smooth bezel Kingman sterling sing with hammer work accent on the band itself. Hallmarked “arrow” by Artist, Jim Williams,Navajo.
